There is nothing as beautiful as seeing wild species in their natural habitat. Common dolphins are classified in two subspecies: the long-beaked common dolphin (Delphinus capensis) and the short-beaked common dolphin (Delphinus delphis).
In this video, several dolphins share a moment together in European waters and they are captured by the camera of an amateur photographer. Although not aggressive, it is important to respect all species and try to watch them without invading their habitat.
Fortunately, this species is classified as “least concern” of conservation, but it depends on us to keep it that way.
